Thanks for viewing Maximus Models!

A good friend of mine got me started in plastic aircraft modeling when I was in middle school.  I continued modeling with a strong focus on 1/72 military aircraft throughout high school. As life changed due to college, career, and family, I ended up taking an extended break, ~15 years.

In late 2012, I discovered Wingnut Wings online, and instantly felt the urge to rekindle my modeling efforts.  I have since become a regular at my local hobby shop, which I had driven by for years without stopping, and at the same time realized how much the hobby has changed for the positive due to the internet and advances in technology.

This site is meant to capture my modeling efforts, successes and lessons for others to see and hopefully provide a vehicle for me to learn even more from feedback.  I hope you enjoy the site!
